Job summary

Evoke Technologies in Hyderabad, India is seeking a senior data engineer to design and run robust data pipelines and curate a Snowflake-based data warehouse using DBT.

You will manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, work with AWS services (Glue, EMR, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, CloudFormation) to build scalable data platforms, optimize ETL/ELT processes, enforce data quality and lineage, and mentor teammates while driving best practices in data modeling and pipeline orchestration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science, IT, or related field
• Strong SQL and RDBMS performance tuning experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS-based data engineering — Glue, EMR, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, CloudFormation
• Solid grasp of data engineering concepts: ETL/ELT design, data modeling, orchestration (Airflow), CDC, data partitioning, and pipeline optimization
• Experience with CI/CD and source control practices
