• 5+ years of software development experience using Python.
• Hands‑on experience with large datasets, data modeling, data lakes, or data engineering workflow.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (breadth preferred over depth, given evolving architecture).
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines or backend systems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science required
• Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience building and deploying production level services across large scale distributed systems using
• Knowledge of advanced programming techniques (Low Latency, Resiliency, Network Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Memory Management and File Management
• Able to analyse, plan, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems
• Demonstrates knowledge of how their projects impact FactSet’s products and clients
• Demonstrates good development practices and self‑reliance
• Possesses depth of knowledge of real time and high‑frequency trading systems, as well as knowledge of financial instruments and market dynamic to design software that meets the specific needs of trading environments
• Highly proficient with development environment and tools,
• Has demonstrated success with increasingly difficult technical projects.
