Job summary

Newt Global is seeking a Data Engineer in Chennai to design and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Python. The role focuses on processing large-scale data and building cloud-based data solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver reliable data platforms, ensuring data quality, performance, and governance. On-site Chennai placement with an immediate to 30 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and PySpark skills.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with SQL and ETL/Data Pipeline development.
• Spark optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and Airflow.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and Git.
