Job summary

Mindsprint is seeking a Snowflake Developer/Engineer to design and implement data warehouse solutions and optimize analytics capabilities across the organization.

You will work on large-scale Snowflake implementations, data migration from SAP Datawarehouse, and build ETL pipelines using Python, Snowflake SQL and dbt. Experience with IoT data and BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data warehousing or data built tools.
• Hands-on experience in Snowflake implementation.
• Experience in large-scale data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Migration experience from SAP Datawarehouse to Snowflake with performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using Python, Snowflake SQL and dbt.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from IoT sensors and manufacturing PLCs.
• Lead data analytics projects and enforce standard methodologies.
• Support requirements definition, analysis, and use case documentation.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Job Description: Snowflake Developer/Engineer

A data architecture professional focuses upon collecting information and maintaining proper methodologies for gathering data. He or she also seeks to optimize the way in which organizations analyse information and leverage it.

Data architects' skills must allow them to have one eye on big picture strategy while also focusing on solving sophisticated data-related problems. Data architecture touches all data professionals in one way or another.

Data architects must define a company's data strategy and vision. In turn, data engineers, data analysts and data scientists operated within the data processing framework.

Major Accountabilities:

• Minimal 3+ years? experience in data warehousing/Data built tool.
• Must have hands-on experience in Snowflake implementation
• Experience in implementing large-scale data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Worked on migration of data analytics environment from SAP Datawarehouse to Snowflake with performance and reliability.
• Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using a combination of Python and Snowflakes SQL and Data Build Tool.
• Should have experience in working with structured and unstructured data, especially from IOT sensors, Manufacturing PLCs etc.
• Lead data analytics team for implementing the standard methodologies.
• Experience with Business Requirements definition and management, structured analysis, process design, use case documentation
• Experience in reporting tools like Tableau / Power BI etc is preferable.

Skills (Must Have):

• Minimum experience work in Snowflake
• Minimum 1+ years of experience working in Cloud platforms, preferably on Azure or AWS.
• Understand of Snowflake roles and user security
• Understand of Snowflake capabilities like Snow pipe, STREAMS, etc.

Mandatory People Skills:

• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task simultaneous different customer projects
• Ability to produce high quality work products under pressure and within deadlines.
• Should be able to handle the client independently (Email/Phone/Conference calls)
• Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Data Build Tool is preferable
• Knowledge on SAP ERP Functional modules like Sales and distribution, Material movement, Inventory, Finance a major plus

Key Specifications: Open to work across Implementation as well as Support projects, across shifts. Willing to travel to onsite based on project needs.
