Job summary

FabConnect HR in Bengaluru is seeking a data engineer to build scalable data platforms using SQL, DBT, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing CDC and incremental loads, and tuning SQL for performance across Fabric Lakehouse environments.

You will drive data quality, lineage, and governance while collaborating with analytics teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Data Factory
• Implement batch, incremental and CDC-based ingestion from cloud and on-premise sources
• Build complex SQL transformations, stored procedures, views and analytical datasets
• Perform SQL performance tuning using indexing, partitioning, statistics and execution plans
• Develop modular DBT models across staging, intermediate and marts layers
• Implement DBT tests, macros, documentation and incremental models
• Build and manage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse / Warehouse solutions
• Work with Delta / Parquet, medallion architecture and schema evolution
• Implement automated data-quality checks, monitoring, SLA tracking and alerting
• Manage CI/CD through Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Implement data governance, RBAC, secrets management, RLS/OLS and metadata standards

CTC: Up to ₹30 LPA
