Job summary

Fractal Analytics Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Data Engineer focused on data integration and streaming platforms to build scalable real-time data pipelines.

You will work with Confluent Kafka, CDC solutions, and Schema Registry, applying SQL and Python to model, transform, and integrate data across systems.

Collaborate with business and tech teams to ensure reliable data flows, governance, and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering background, including data modelling, transformation, and integration.
• Experience working within cloud environments and tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms.
• Ideally experience with Apache Kafka/Confluent Platform, inc support CDC (Change Data Capture) solutions, and managing Kafka topics, schemas, connectors, and stream processing pipelines.
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming patterns.
• Familiarity with Avro/JSON schema management and Schema Registry.
• Experience integrating data between legacy and modern platforms.
• Strong SQL/Python skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Understanding of data mapping, data quality, and common data models.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to work across business and technical teams.
