Responsibilities

• Lead Campus Network, Manufacturing Network (OT), Firewall, Network Security and Cloud Network.
• Configure, install and manage routers, switches, VPNs across IT/OT.
• Monitor, maintain and upgrade network infrastructure for reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders from Process, R&D, SC, Quality, Equipment, Sales & Marketing.

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is investing $500+ Mn dollars to setup India’s first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium-Ion Cells at Devanahalli Industrial Area in Bengaluru. Overview:

Responsible for the configuration, installation, and management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and plant servers across IT and OT networks. Performs network operations, maintenance, and system upgrades, including deployment of service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations to ensure reliability and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead areas including Campus Network, Manufacturing Network (OT), Firewall, Network Security and Cloud Network
• CCNA or CCNP certified.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.
• Experience in implementing and managing voice over IP (VoIP) systems desired.
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, QoS, DSL, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet.

• Plants: For all IT Plant Machinery requirements and vendor development
• Internal Stakeholders from Process, R&D, SC, Quality, Equipment, Sales & Mktg & other functions

Key External Interfaces:

Network & Security OEMs, ISPs/Telecoms, System Integrators, Cloud Providers, VoIP Vendors, Global Suppliers

Education:

BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree

Experience:

4+Yrs of experience in managing and installation of Network Devices, Firewalls
