Job summary

Oracle seeks a technically skilled individual to deliver installations and ongoing support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure datacenters in Mumbai. The role includes hardware, network, cabling, and rack deployments, with site planning and issue escalation to keep services running smoothly.

The successful candidate will participate in 24x7 site coverage, handle escalations, and work within shift rosters to ensure continuous OCI datacenter operations.

Qualifications

• Responsible for effective delivery of technical support and installations for OCI datacenters.
• Includes hardware, network, cabling and rack deployments.
• Site planning and problem escalation to ensure service delivery.
• Provide 24x7 site coverage and participate in shift rotations.

Responsibilities

• Work involves problem solving with guidance and adherence to company policies.
• Support day-to-day hardware maintenance and repairs for servers and network equipment.
• Basic OS, hardware and network fundamentals knowledge.
• Understand datacenter design, electrical and cooling plant operations.
• Work independently or in a team to evaluate issues and take corrective actions.
• Prioritize work based on severity and provide remediation feedback.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Job Description

Responsible foreffective delivery of technical support and installations. This will include break-fixtasks, includes hardware,network, cabling and rack deployments, site planning,problem escalation and managing installationsin an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) datacenter.

Pprioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued delivery of

technician activities in accordance with internal polices and service level agreements.

Provide24x7site coverage forOracle OCI datacentersites and be part of Shift ROTA's to cover 24x7

Responsibilities

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance. Understands and applies company policies and procedures.

Supports day to day hardwaremaintenance and readily implementsrepairs for known failure modes inservers and network equipment.

Basic knowledge on operating system, hardware and network fundamentals, concepts, repair & diagnosis.

Basic knowledge of datacenter design, including electrical and cooling plant & operations

Ability to work independently and as partof a team, evaluating issues and taking appropriate actions to resolve them.

Solidknowledge of datacenter design, including electrical and cooling plant & operation

Solid knowledge on operating system, hardware and network fundamentals, concepts, repair & diagnosis.

Prioritizes work based on severity,identifies and provides remediationfeedback in defined processes.

Good level of spokenEnglish language is required.
