Seanergy Digital Inc. is seeking a Data Architect to design enterprise BI solutions with emphasis on Tableau reporting ecosystems and Microsoft Fabric implementations.

You will own BI semantic models, data warehouse design, KPI frameworks, governance, RLS/OLS, and performance tuning across the BI stack to meet business and client-delivery goals. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in Tableau Server/Cloud, Fabric stack, and modern data warehousing concepts, with leadership responsibilities

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for The Data Architect who is responsible for designing and architecting enterprise-wide Business Intelligence solutions for Seanergy and its clients, with a primary focus on Tableau reporting ecosystems and end-to-end Microsoft Fabric implementations. The role owns BI semantic models, data warehouse and database design, KPI frameworks, governance models, RLS/OLS standards, and performance optimization across the BI stack. The architect ensures scalable, secure, high-performance BI systems aligned with business, technology, and client-delivery goals.

Key Skills:

• Microsoft Fabric — OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Direct Lake, Data Factory, Power BI in Fabric.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages: Python, Go, Node.js, or similar.
• Data Warehousing & Dimensional Modeling (Kimball, star/snowflake, SCD)
• ETL/ELT & Cloud Data Platforms (ADF, Fabric Pipelines, dbt, Azure).
• Programming / Scripting (Python, DAX, Power Query M).

Responsibilities:

• Architect enterprise BI solutions on Tableau (Server/Cloud) and Microsoft Fabric — including semantic models, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting structures aligned with business outcomes.
• Design and own end-to-end Microsoft Fabric architecture — OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Direct Lake semantic models, Data Factory pipelines, Real-Time Analytics, and Fabric administration and governance.
• Architect the Tableau ecosystem — Server/Cloud topology, extract vs. live connection strategy, LOD expressions, Row-Level Security, Tableau Prep flows, publishing and content governance.
• Design scalable data warehouse and database structures — Kimball dimensional models (star/snowflake), SCD strategies, indexing, partitioning, and query performance tuning across Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Fabric Warehouse.
• Review BI developer work, guide technical choices, and mentor teams on Tableau, Fabric, dimensional modeling, and database best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Years of Experience: 10+ years in BI, data warehousing, or analytics architecture. 10+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Data Analytics, with 3+ years in a BI Architect / Solution Architect role. Deep, hands‑on expertise architecting BI solutions on Tableau (Server/Cloud) — publishing strategy, RLS, LOD expressions, extract optimization, Tableau Prep. Strong hands‑on experience across the complete Microsoft Fabric stack — OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake semantic models, Data Factory, and Fabric administration

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical fields.
