Job summary

Accion Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale data platforms. You will lead data architecture, oversee Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric initiatives, and engage with clients for solution delivery.

The role requires 13+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, deep SQL and Power BI expertise, and strong cloud migration capabilities.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, Real-Time Analytics).
• Expert-level SQL programming and query optimization.
• Strong experience in Power BI development, administration, and enterprise deployment.
• Experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake architecture and medallion design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of data governance, security, Purview, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Engineering Architect with over 13+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and modern cloud-based data architectures. In addition to technical leadership, the candidate should have strong client-facing experience, including account management, stakeholder engagement, solution consulting, and delivery governance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
