Job Description
As Manager, Data Engineering, you will translate client requirements into design, architect, and implement GCP Cloud-based big data solutions. Your role focuses on delivering high‑quality solutions by independently driving design discussions related to Data Ingestion, Transformation & Consumption, Data Storage and Computation Frameworks, Performance Optimizations, Infrastructure, Automation, Cloud Computing, and Data Governance & Security. This role requires a hands‑on technologist with strong programming background in Python.

- Provide technical leadership and hands‑on implementation in data ingestion, access, modeling, processing, visualization, design, and implementation.
- Lead a team to deliver high‑quality big‑data solutions on GCP Cloud, managing functional and non‑functional scope and quality.
- Establish standard data practices like governance and address non‑functional issues such as data security, privacy, and quality.
- Provide technical leadership for data program implementation using agile technologies.
- Participate in workshops with clients to align stakeholders to optimal solutions.
- Deliver consulting, soft skills, thought leadership, and mentorship.
- Manage people, contribute to hiring, and build capability.
Your Skills & Experience
- Overall 9+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in data‑related technologies and 3+ years in GCP Cloud services, having delivered at least one project as an architect.
- Knowledge of big data architecture patterns and delivery of end‑to‑end solutions on GCP Cloud.
- Expertise in programming languages Java / Scala; Python is a plus.
- Expertise in at least one distributed data processing framework such as Spark (Core, Streaming, SQL), Storm, or Flink.
- Expertise in Hadoop ecosystem with GCP distribution and experience with big‑data ingestion tools (Sqoop, Flume, NiFi), distributed messaging and ingestion frameworks (Kafka, Pulsar, Pub/Sub) and familiarity with traditional tools like Informatica or Talend.
- Experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, or cloud‑based NoSQL offerings like DynamoDB, Bigtable.
- Exposure to development with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes Engine is an added advantage.
Salary Range: ₹30‑48 Lacs per annum.
