Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Data Architect / Manager to lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud data solutions on Snowflake, guiding an Agile data engineering team in Bangalore.

You will own solution design across Snowflake, orchestration platforms, and integration layers, while providing technical leadership on Python automation and data pipelines. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing Agile teams and cross-functional data initiatives.
• 10+ years with relational databases (traditional and cloud platforms).
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Deep architectural expertise in cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and orchestration.
• Experience designing end-to-end, scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with Airflow or Dagster.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging stakeholders directly.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
