We are looking for a skilled Data Architect to design and manage scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms in a data mesh environment. The role involves leading data architecture initiatives across multiple domains while supporting both operational and analytical use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver effective data solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, data flows, and data dictionaries.
• Develop and enforce data modeling standards, including ER models, dimensional models, and flattened data structures optimized for analytics.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures leveraging medallion/lakehouse architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Lead the development of enterprise data landscapes, capturing sources, flows, transformations, and consumption layers.
• Ensure consistency across decentralized data products in a data mesh architecture.
• Define metadata, data quality, and governance standards across domains.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Data Modeling using Erwin Data Modeler (dimensional, flattened, canonical, and domain-specific models).
  • Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Classification frameworks.
  • Experience with Collibra or similar data governance tools.
• Architecture & Design:
  • Proven experience with Data Mesh or Domain-Oriented Data Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with medallion/lakehouse architecture.
  • Ability to create comprehensive data blueprints and landscape maps across complex enterprise systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data designs.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
