Data Architect
Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s data architecture to ensure data integrity, scalability, and security.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Establish data governance frameworks, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and maintain data quality standards.
- Optimize database performance, storage, and retrieval processes for high availability and scalability.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assess and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies for data management and analytics.
About you
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT or related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience with data processing/analytics, ETL data transformation.
- Proficient in ingesting data to/from Snowflake, Azure storage account.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C#, C++, F#, Java.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of SQL query development and optimization.
- Demonstrated experience with Snowflake, Qlik Replicate, Fivetran, Azure Data Explorer.
- Cloud Azure experience (current/future) used (ADX, ADF, Databricks).
- Expertise with Airflow, Qlik, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory.
- Management of Snowflake through DBT scripting.
- Solid understanding of data strategies, including data management, curation, and governance.
- Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with business customers and agile teams.
- A passion for learning about and experimenting with new technologies.
- Confidence in creating and delivering technical presentations and training.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Experience with Airtable platform.
- Working knowledge of Azure Databricks.
- Working knowledge of various data storage technologies.
- Working knowledge of big data tools (Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, HDFS, YARN, etc.).
- Working knowledge of container technologies (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
