Prescience Decision Solutions, Bangalore-based analytics specialists, seeks an Analytics Lead to anchor data engineering and analytics delivery. You will mentor 3–4 analysts, guide complex SQL/dbt workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality outputs for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will partner across the business to translate data insights into actionable outcomes, oversee pipelines, and uphold delivery standards in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We are looking for an Analytics Lead with a strong foundation in both data engineering and analytics to join our Analytics Centre of Excellence. This role sits at the intersection of analytical rigour, client delivery, and team leadership you will be responsible for producing high-quality analytics outputs, ensuring your team meets delivery standards, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business. Beyond your own work, you will guide and quality-check a small team of analysts (3 - 4 members), acting as the bridge between day‑to‑day analytics operations and the wider business goals you are collectively working towards.

Required Qualifications

• 6 - 12 years of experience spanning both data (engineering, operations, or pipelines) and analytics (reporting, insights, BI) disciplines.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and validate data; leverage dbt( Good to have) for modelling and pipeline management.
• Strong SQL skills with hands‑on Snowflake experience or similar; familiarity with dbt for data modelling and transformation.
• Demonstrated experience owning and delivering analytics outputs to clients or senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small team, reviewing analytical work, and maintaining delivery quality standards.
• Confident communicator able to present data findings, manage stakeholder expectations, and build relationships at multiple levels.
• Strong analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem solving and root cause investigation.
• Experience with BI and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
• Familiarity with project and task management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in a centralised Analytics Centre of Excellence, shared services, or managed analytics environment.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, statistical methods, or anomaly detection techniques.
• Experience in fast‑paced, client‑facing, or operationally complex environments.
• (Optional) Experience with workflow automation tools or scripting (Python, or similar) to streamline repetitive analytical tasks.
• (Optional) Exposure to Generative AI or LLM‑based tools in analytics workflows, reporting automation, or insight generation; familiarity with prompt engineering or AI‑assisted analysis is a plus.
