About the Role

We are looking for a Risk Analyst (Data Analyst profile) to join our risk & analytics team at Fintech Cloud.

Mandatory Requirements

• 2-3 years of minimum hands-on experience as a Data Analyst / Risk Analyst.
• Prior experience working in a fintech, NBFC, banking, or lending/finance environment is a must.
• Strong proficiency in SQL complex joins, window functions, query optimization on large datasets.
• Strong proficiency in Python Pandas, NumPy, and standard data manipulation/reporting workflows.

Risk & Data Analytics Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Metabase (or similar BI tools) for building and maintaining risk dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) especially BigQuery for querying and analyzing large-scale loan data.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, array formulas, macros/Apps Script is a plus.
• Understanding of NPA/DPD bucketing, RBI classification norms, and portfolio risk metrics (PAR, delinquency %, roll-rates).
• Ability to track and report collections performance, deficit analysis, and brand-wise/team-wise scorecards.
• Familiarity with CIBIL/credit bureau data and basic credit risk concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset able to spot trends, anomalies, and risk signals in large transactional datasets.
• Experience building automated reports/dashboards (Power BI is a plus, not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze NPA/DPD trends, delinquency buckets, and portfolio risk across 30+ lending brands.
• Build and maintain risk dashboards and reports in Metabase and Excel for daily/weekly/monthly reviews.
• Write and optimize SQL queries on BigQuery to extract, clean, and analyze large loan datasets.
• Partner with Collections and Credit teams to flag risk trends and support decision-making.
• Prepare brand-wise and team-wise performance/deficit reports against target benchmarks.
• Automate recurring reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and turnaround time.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of Google Apps Script for Sheets automation.
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced lending/NBFC environment.
