Job summary

Pointo in Bengaluru, India is seeking a data analytics professional to build dashboards for Collections, Payments, Onboarding, and Risk teams. You will create KPI tracking systems for daily to monthly reporting and develop automated reporting to reduce manual work.

You will provide ad‑hoc analyses, identify data gaps, document data lineage, and support finance with payment flow tracing for audits. A strong background in SQL and Python or R is required to turn data into actionable insights.

Job description

ROLE

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for Collections, Payments, Customer Onboarding, and Risk teams
• Create KPI tracking systems for daily/weekly/monthly reporting on collection status, payment success rates, and funnel metrics
• Develop automated reporting solutions to replace manual processes and reduce operational overhead
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis to support business decisions and identify trends
• Identify and elevate data gaps and inconsistencies to Engineering
• Document data schemas, definitions, and data lineage for stakeholders
• Support Collections team by building visibility into payment failure patterns, collection protest trends, and anomalies
• Support Risk/Credit team by analyzing credit assessment gaps, onboarding funnel drop‑offs, and customer lifecycle metrics
• Support Finance by reconciling vendor payments, identifying discrepancies, and tracing payment flows for audit trails

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or business intelligence
• Proven track record building dashboards and reports that drive business decisions
• Data storytelling ability: create clear, actionable dashboards and communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders
• Data validation experience: identify data quality issues, perform audits, reconcile data across systems
• Experience with platforms such as Zoho CRM, payment gateways, and internal dashboards
• Problem‑solving mindset: break ambiguous questions into actionable analysis
• Experience working directly with SQL databases in a production environment
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Background in risk analytics or credit assessment
