Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical or Data Science Engineering
• 2-7 years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft SQL is mandatory
• Experience with Power BI, Excel & Power Automate mandatory
• Experience with Power Apps & SAP is a plus
• Data analysis experience is mandatory
• Windchill or cPLM experience is advantageous
• Programming with Python or Excel-VBA is a plus
• Good English written and spoken skills
• Ability to collaborate with global technical teams

Responsibilities

• Create a Data Analysis system for various projects and use it for business case analysis and KPIs
• Automate KPIs and metrics and analyze data for insights to improve the business
• Create reports showing design standardization and implementation results across projects
• Analyze test vs calculated performance data from data warehouse tools or create new tools/reports to provide insights and reduce test failures
• Automate repetitive data analysis in Excel and local queries to support the business long-term
• Analyze margin and schedule slippage and provide trends and projections
• Identify cost-saving ideas from data analysis
• Coordinate tasks within a worldwide factories network
• Implement new software related to engineering
• Support existing IT systems (e.g., SAP, cPLM) related to engineering
• Demonstrate team-building and networking skills

As a Data Analytics Engineer at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. How you’ll make an impact

• Create a Data Analysis system for various projects and utilize it for business case analysis as well as KPIs.
• Automate the KPIs /metrics and analyse data to provide insights in improving the business.
• Create reports to show standardization results in designs, and implementation results for various development projects.
• Analyze test vs calculated performance data provided by existing data warehouse tools or create new tools/reports to provide insights and also help reduce test failures.
• Automate the repeat data analysis often done in excel and local queries so we support the business long term and preserve knowledge.

Your background

• Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical or Data Science Engineering having 2-7 years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Mandatory.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel & Power Automate Mandatory.
• Experience with Power Apps & SAP skill a plus
• Experience performing Data analysis is mandatory.
• Experience in cPLM/Windchill will have added advantages.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Excel-VBA will have added advantage
• Transformer experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good English written and spoken skills
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
