Novartis India in Hyderabad is seeking an Automation Engineer to turn data into smarter Finance processes. You will partner with Finance teams to design scalable automation using Python, Selenium, RPA, and data transformation.

You will embed AI/ML capabilities in automated workflows, optimize pipelines, and document solutions for stakeholders. Excellent English communication and SQL/database skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on automation experience with Python and Selenium.
• Experience with robotic process automation technologies.
• Strong Python skills with Selenium for automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps to support business solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases for data transformation.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English for collaboration.

Summary

Location: Hyderabad, India

Turn data and automation into smarter ways of working. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Finance teams to identify operational challenges and build scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy and decision-making. You’ll combine your expertise in Python, Selenium and robotic process automation with data transformation and emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, giving you the opportunity to shape intelligent automation solutions and continuously improve how Finance operates.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using Python, Selenium and robotic process automation to improve Finance processes.
• Integrate scripts and automation platforms to create efficient, intelligent workflows and support data-driven decision-making.
• Embed artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into automated workflows to enable predictive and cognitive solutions.
• Optimize automation pipelines to strengthen scalability, reliability and performance.
• Develop processes to extract, transform and integrate clean, actionable data into automated workflows.
• Explore emerging automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to continuously improve solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and maintain robust documentation throughout the automation lifecycle.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology or a related discipline.
• Two to four years of hands-on experience delivering automation solutions using Python and Selenium libraries.
• Practical experience developing solutions using robotic process automation technologies.
• Strong Python programming skills, including experience using Selenium libraries for process automation.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps to support business solutions.
• Working knowledge of Structured Query Language and databases for managing and transforming data.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and document automation solutions effectively.
• Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements

• Exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly integrating predictive or cognitive capabilities into automated workflows.
• Experience using PowerShell or VBScript to integrate scripts with automation platforms and enhance process efficiency.
