Job summary

Novartis in Hyderabad, India is seeking an automation engineer to turn data into smarter finance workflows using Python and Selenium, with robotic process automation.

You will partner with Finance teams to deliver scalable solutions, embed AI/ML capabilities, and ensure robust documentation and stakeholder communication.

Experience 2–4 years, degree in technology, and knowledge of SQL and Power Apps preferred.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Technology or a related discipline.
• Two to four years of hands-on experience delivering automation solutions using Python and Selenium libraries.
• Practical experience developing solutions using robotic process automation technologies.
• Strong Python programming skills, including experience using Selenium libraries for process automation.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps to support business solutions.
• Working knowledge of Structured Query Language and databases for managing and transforming data.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and document automation solutions effectively.
• Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements

• Exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly integrating predictive or cognitive capabilities into automated workflows.
• Experience using PowerShell or VBScript to integrate scripts with automation platforms and enhance process efficiency.
