Job summary

Legal Benchmarking Group (LBG) is seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Data Analyst to join our Chennai-based Research & Data team. The role focuses on data cleaning, data entry for judgments, and structured data operations across global products.

You will collect, clean, validate, and structure data from internal and external sources, perform QA checks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 0–1 year of experience in data cleaning, reporting, or analytics (internships count).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and data hygiene.
• Good communication and collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely publishing of judgement data, data collection and data research.
• Collect, clean, validate, and structure data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Perform data QA checks to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Work with Excel-based tools (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) to manage high-volume datasets.
• Assist with automation initiatives using Python or advanced Excel methods when required.

Legal Benchmarking Group (LBG) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our Chennai-based Research & Data team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in data cleaning, quality assurance, legal and financial research, and structured data operations. The analyst will support judgement/ claims data entry, data cleaning and dataset management across LBG's global products. This position offers strong learning opportunities, cross-team collaboration and exposure to global research standards.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely publishing of judgement data, data collection and data research.
• Collect, clean, validate, and structure data from multiple internal and external sources.
