Job summary

Mastek is seeking a PMO/Data Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to support data-driven decisions in Mumbai. You will analyse datasets, build Excel reports with pivots and advanced formulas, and create dashboards for leadership using PowerPoint presentations.

The role requires fast turnaround, attention to detail, and strong communication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to data governance and ongoing reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Data Analysis / MIS / Reporting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in: Microsoft Excel (Advanced level).
• Data analysis and reporting techniques.
• Dashboard creation.
• Excel Formulae and functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations.
• Strong understanding of data handling, structuring, and interpretation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high velocity and quick turnaround expectations.

Responsibilities

Job Description: PMO/ Data Analyst (1-2 Years Experience)

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over the English language. proficiency in Excel-based data manipulation, Effective power-point decks and dashboard creation and the ability to present insights effectively to leadership.

Interview methodology

Candidates must have Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint installed on their laptops before attending the interviews. Case study with sample data will be provided to analyze & solution in excel and PowerPoint.

Qualification

• Engineering Graduate / BSc/ BCom/BMS Graduate with a full time MBA
• Excel / Power BI / Tableau certifications will be desirable
