Job summary

Futops in India is seeking an analytics professional to manage end-to-end analytics workflows, including data pipelines, modeling, and KPI dashboards. You will transform complex data into actionable insights and present them to cross-functional and client teams from diverse backgrounds.

The role emphasizes data storytelling, EDA, and automation to improve operational efficiency, with hands-on skills in Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, and BI tools. On-site client location work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics consulting or data science roles with progressive responsibility.
• Strong data storytelling and ability to translate insights into business actions.
• Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development for decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams, including leadership.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, and BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end analytics process: data pipeline, analysis, model creation, and reports; develop business dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Perform EDA, data storytelling, and process automation to boost operational efficiency.
• Create dashboards and wireframes; build and maintain PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.
• Present findings to clients and cross-cultural leadership; manage stakeholder expectations and output requirements.
• Conduct secondary research to augment data insights and align with client needs.

Hiring for our MNC client

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling end-to-end Analytics process i.e. Data pipeline, analysis, model creation and report generation; includes KPI monitoring and development of business dashboards for data-driven decision-making
• Data storytelling, EDA, and process automation to improve operational efficiency
• Wireframing and Dashboard development
• Proficient in below items:
• Implementing techniques in ML and other data modeling (e.g. predictive modelling, causal analysis, root cause analysis, A/B testing, time series forecasting, etc.)
• Maintenance and development of PostgreSQL DataBase and SQL query formulation
• Statistical concepts and data visualization
• Business reporting & process automation
• Dashboard development
• Handle customer/ project team meetings and able to respond to the data and analytics report-related questions and able to understand their new requirements and provide relevant output; strong stakeholder management skills including engagement with Japanese and cross-cultural leadership teams
• Research for additional data/insights from secondary sources and linking it with their data analysis
• Work from client location

Apart from the above-mentioned project-specific activities, the team member is required to have

• Strong evidence of substantial analysis, report writing, and presentational work using MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Be able to conduct secondary research and network with industry professionals to stay updatedon innovations and best practices in the data science fields & logistics industry and apply these to tasks
• Strong techno-functional skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience requirement

• 2+ years of experience in Analytics Consulting or Data Science, with demonstrated progression to a senior individual contributor role

Preferred course:

• Data Science & AI course(s); certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or equivalent BI/ML credentials preferred; Diploma/PG qualification in AI & Machine Learning is an added advantage
