Data Analyst

We are seeking a contingent Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Supply Management team at 3M. The ideal candidate will independently analyze complex datasets, create impactful dashboards, and deliver insights that support data-driven decision-making across the enterprise supply chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the data subject matter expert for the Enterprise Supply Management team.
• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources utilizing SQL and AI-assisted workflows.
• AI-Leveraged Analysis: Utilize AI tools to accelerate data processing, Python script generation, and the analysis of complex supply chain datasets.
• Conduct advanced analysis by collecting, processing, and modeling data to obtain valuable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Independently lead technical and administrative workstreams while supporting the Project Leader in administration and coordination.
• Present insights and recommendations to functional stakeholders.
• Build and maintain scalable data models.
• Support improvements in data quality, governance, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor?s degree in engineering.
• Proficiency in data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Python & AI Proficiency: A reasonable working knowledge of Python, coupled with a strong, demonstrated ability to leverage AI development tools (e.g., LLMs, coding copilots) to write code, debug, and execute data analysis efficiently.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
