S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Data Analyst to contribute to end-to-end data lifecycle activities, from sourcing to basic enrichment, under SOPs. The role supports real-time data on global corporate events and collaborates with data research teams to improve data quality.
You will contribute to UAT, learning industry concepts, and applying GenAI tools to automate data extraction and normalization, while meeting accuracy and timeliness targets.
The Data Analyst is an individual contributor role that develops foundational proficiency in one or more workflows or datasets. The role supports end-to-end data lifecycle activities including sourcing, basic validation, enrichment, and delivery under guidance, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and set guidelines, and escalating deviations for a defined dataset or workflow. The role emphasizes building strong data literacy and operational discipline, learning industry concepts, and collaborating with other data research teams. Analysts contribute to UAT and day-to-day solutioning, follow established standards, and participate in continuous process improvement and the adoption of technology and AI-enabled workflows.

We diligently track all types of Mergers, Acquisitions, Capital Market Activities like IPO, Fixed Income Offerings, Follow On Offerings, Buybacks, and Bankruptcies, ensuring our clients are always the first to know empowering them with decisive market advantage.

In addition to collecting and validating the data, this role requires working with peers, other stakeholders and on process improvement projects.
