Job summary

EY in Hyderabad is seeking a web application developer with 4–12 years of experience, including DAML and blockchain exposure. You will contribute to building scalable backend services, smart contract integration, and REST APIs.

Proficiency in Node.js, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React), databases (MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is required; agile team lead capability preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of web application development experience with at least 1 year in DAML.
• Strong background in Blockchain (Ethereum/Canton) and writing smart contracts (Solidity/DAML).
• Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful service development for back-end systems.
• Experience with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
• Experience with databases (MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB) and modern CI/CD, Git workflows.
• Cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS) and Agile development experience.

Job description

• 4 to 12 years of experience in web application development with at least 1year in DAML2 years in Blockchain development
• Experience programming with object oriented and/or declarative languages
• Strong experience in Blockchain (Ethereum/ Canton) - Canton preferred
• Strong experience in writing smart contracts on Solidity or DAML DAML preferred
• Experience in Scala, Clojure, Elm
• Basic working knowledge of Canton concepts such as participants, domains, and onboarding/party setup
• Expertise in writing end to end test coverage for DAML contracts
• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems
• Skills in writing end to end integration with external signatures
• Experience troubleshooting DAML applications
• Proven skill to scale up on new technologies
• Experience in developing REST services
• Highly experienced with back-end programming languages like Node JS
• Experience with developing web-based solutions using HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript framework like Angular JS, React etc.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB
• Experience using modern software configuration management tools in an automated build environment such as Git, Azure Dev Ops etc.
• Azure/AWS knowledge is required
