Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Product Owner.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / F&O and ERP processes.
• Hands-on experience with RevPro / Zuora Revenue or similar revenue management platforms.
• Experience in M&A, ERP transformation, consolidation, implementation, or system migration.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, map processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and document functionality.
• Experience with data migration, source-to-target mapping, integrations, testing, and reconciliation.
• Ability to collaborate with Business, Finance, Product, and technical teams; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Assess acquired-company processes and map them to standard D365 processes.

Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced D365 Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to support M&A and business transformation initiatives, focusing on integrating acquired companies into the enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

The role will work closely with Business, Finance, IT, Data Migration, Integration, and D365 technical teams to assess As-Is/To-Be processes, perform fit-gap analysis, define requirements, support data migration and integrations, and drive business readiness and transition to standardized enterprise processes.

Strong knowledge of D365 Finance, financial processes, and RevPro/Revenue Management is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. M&A Business Process & Functional Assessment

• Assess acquired-company processes and map them to standard D365 processes.
• Lead As-Is / To-Be analysis, fit-gap assessment, requirements gathering, and process standardization.
• Identify process gaps, customizations, integration dependencies, and opportunities for reuse.
• Partner with Finance and Business stakeholders to drive decisions and sign-offs.

2. D365 Finance & Revenue Management

Strong functional understanding of:

• D365 Finance / F&O
• Record to Report (R2R)
• Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Invoice to Cash (I2C)
• Fixed Assets and financial reporting
• Revenue Management / Revenue Recognition
• Zuora RevPro or similar revenue management platforms
• Integration between D365, RevPro/Revenue Management, billing, invoicing, and other financial systems.

3. Data Migration & Integration

• Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, validation and reconciliation requirements.
• Review migration templates and validate migrated data.
• Assess inbound/outbound integrations and define functional interface requirements.
• Work with technical teams on integration testing and end-to-end validation.
• Support mock conversions, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.

4. M&A Migration Playbook

Contribute to a repeatable D365 M&A migration framework, including:

• Discovery and assessment templates
• As-Is / To-Be and fit-gap templates
• D365 functional mapping
• Data migration and integration assessment
• Testing and cutover checklists
• Post-go-live stabilization and lessons learned

The objective is to standardize future acquisitions and reduce migration time, cost, and risk.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Product Owner.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / F&O.
• Strong understanding of Finance, R2R, P2P, I2C and Revenue Management processes.
• Hands-on functional experience with RevPro / Zuora Revenue or equivalent revenue management platform.
• Experience with M&A, ERP transformation, consolidation, implementation, or system migration programs.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and functional documentation.
• Experience with data migration, source-to-target mapping, integrations, testing, and reconciliation.
• Ability to work effectively with Business, Finance, Product, and technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with D365 Supply Chain Management or Human Resources.
• Experience in global, multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Experience with ETL/data migration tools.
• Experience with financial systems integration and ERP consolidation.
