You will mentor engineers, manage technical risks, and own production stability, ensuring high-quality, secure, and resilient solutions across web, API, backend, and mobile platforms.
We exist to make food the world loves. But we do more than that. Our company is a place that prioritizes being a force for good, a place to expand learning, explore new perspectives and reimagine new possibilities, every day. We look for people who want to bring their best - bold thinkers with big hearts who challenge one another and grow together. Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what's next.
This senior role is a strategic engineering leader within the BTFE team, responsible for architecting, building, and overseeing scalable, secure, and maintainable digital products and services. The individual will lead delivery across the predominantly .NET-based BTFE technology ecosystem, while governing mobile application delivery through vendor partners and strengthening the team's future cross-platform engineering capabilities.
With advanced expertise across multiple technologies, they will guide full lifecycle development-from technical planning and design to implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization. They will mentor developers, lead design discussions, manage technical risks and debt, and collaborate cross-functionally to align solutions with business objectives. The role also includes ownership of production stability, vendor engineering quality, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security, and sustained technical excellence across web, API, backend, and mobile-integrated platforms.
Leading delivery of complex BTFE products, platforms, and modules across internal teams and vendor partners with end-to-end accountability for scope, quality, release readiness, and delivery outcomes
Owning production support strategy across BTFE platforms, including incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, service reliability, and continuous improvement for critical issues
Driving stakeholder alignment through active participation in product discovery, requirement gathering, scope definition, technical planning, dependency management, and release planning
Providing high-confidence estimates for large-scale efforts, advising on resourcing and partner capacity, and establishing delivery plans that balance near-term outcomes with long-term technical health
Championing a culture of continuous learning, introducing relevant emerging technologies, cross-platform frameworks, engineering practices, and AI-enabled ways of working
Providing deep mentorship and technical guidance to mid- and junior-level engineers, while building capability across .NET, web/API, cloud, integration, and mobile engineering fundamentals
Leading internal initiatives such as architecture reviews, engineering talks, vendor knowledge exchanges, and capability development programs
Demonstrating strong leadership presence, strengthening team culture and practices, and creating an environment where people can do their best work and grow
Creating and validating high-level estimations, technology roadmaps, modernization plans, and investment cases for large, cross-functional BTFE efforts
Designing and owning complex, scalable, secure, and resilient end-to-end solutions across .NET, APIs, cloud services, data stores, third-party integrations, and mobile experiences
Serving as an advisor across BTFE product, business, operations, security, architecture, and vendor communities, aligning solutions with strategic goals and user needs.
