Job summary

Power Bridge is seeking a proactive L1 SOC Analyst to join its Security Operations Center in Bengaluru. You will monitor security events, perform initial triage, investigate suspicious activities, and escalate incidents following established procedures.

You will help maintain incident tickets, generate daily monitoring reports, and support vulnerability verification while ensuring adherence to SLAs and 24x7 shift coverage across India.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring security events and incident triage in a SOC context.
• Ability to classify and prioritize incidents based on severity and impact.
• Familiarity with security best practices, standards and incident response playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents.
• Investigate phishing attempts, malware alerts and unauthorized access attempts.
• Classify and prioritise incidents based on severity and impact.
• Escalate confirmed incidents to L2/L3 SOC Analysts or Incident Response teams.
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and update tickets in ITSM systems.
• Generate daily security monitoring reports and assist in vulnerability verification activities.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented L1 SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring security events, identifying potential cyber threats, performing initial investigations, and escalating incidents in accordance with established security procedures. RequirementsKey Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents.
• Investigate suspicious activities, malware alerts, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Classify and prioritise security incidents based on severity.
• Escalate confirmed incidents to L2/L3 SOC Analysts or Incident Response teams.
• Monitor endpoint security solutions including EDR/XDR platforms.
• Analyse firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, proxy, authentication, and endpoint logs.
• Respond to phishing emails and perform email header analysis.
• Execute predefined incident response playbooks and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and actions taken.
• Create and update incident tickets within ITSM/Ticketing tools.
• Generate daily security monitoring reports.
• Support vulnerability management and patch verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and incident response timelines.
• Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts.
