Job summary

Tungsten Automation Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen cloud security across AWS and Azure. You will lead incident response, IAM enforcement, and detection workflows, coordinating with SOC, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture teams to elevate security controls.

The role emphasizes automation, threat hunting, and AI-enabled tooling while complying with data privacy and governance standards. Based in the Sofia area with full-time expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity with cloud-native security in AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience securing cloud-native apps and SaaS workloads.
• Hands-on with modern security platforms.
• Experience building or securing large-scale ML infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI governance, fairness, or explainability frameworks.
• Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.
• Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop and scale security operations.

Responsibilities

• Cloud incident response investigations, including logs analysis, threat detection, containment, and remediation.
• Develop and maintain cloud detection rules and monitoring use cases (CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Guard Duty, Azure logs).
• Enforce IAM best practices, including least privilege and RBAC.
• Build and maintain automation and security orchestration workflows.
• Implement cloud security posture management and enforce configuration baselines and logging standards.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across AWS and Azure.
• Identify and mitigate misconfigurations and security risks in cloud environments.
• Develop playbooks and runbooks for cloud security incidents.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in AWS and Azure cloud security. The role requires deep expertise in cloud incident response, IAM, security monitoring, and automation to strengthen the organization’s cloud security posture. The candidate will work closely with SOC, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture teams to design, implement, and improve cloud security controls and detection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud incident response investigations, including analysis of logs, threat detection, containment, and remediation.


• Develop and maintain cloud detection rules and monitoring use cases using logs such as CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Guard Duty, Azure Activity Logs, and Azure AD logs.


• Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, including least privilege, role-based access, and privilege monitoring.


• Build and maintain automation and security orchestration workflows to improve incident response and threat detection.


• Implementation of cloud security posture management and enforce configuration baselines, access controls, and logging standards


• Design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments


• Identify and mitigate misconfigurations and security risks in cloud environments.

Required Skills

Required Experience

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud-native security in AWS and/or Azure


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and securing cloud-native applications


• Proven success securing and hardening SaaS workloads and cloud infrastructure, including IAM, encryption, network security, and logging.


• Hands‑on experience with modern security platforms


• Experience building or securing large-scale ML infrastructure.


• Familiarity with AI governance, fairness, or explainability frameworks.


• Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.


• Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop and scale to the needs of the department.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500)


• AWS Certified Security Specialty


• Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments


• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
