Job summary

Taco Punch Powertrain in Pune, India, seeks a Cyber Security Architect to lead security activities for series production programs and assist the program team in delivering security artifacts in line with ISO 21434 and UNECE WP.29 requirements.

The role reports to the System Engineering Functional Leader and requires an MSc in software, electrical or computer science and 4–8 years of embedded cyber security experience, with strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Software, Electrical or Computer Science or similar Engineering.
• 4–8 years of demonstrated cyber security experience in embedded systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 21434 and UNECE WP.29 R155 preferred.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security activities in compliance with ISO 21434.
• Lead/Support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers.
• Lead/Support Security Concept development.
• Lead/Support Security Requirement development, security requirement reviews, and work with engineers to execute these requirements.
• Lead/Guide software engineers in vulnerability analysis (static code analysis, known vulnerability analysis) and track cyber security implementation issues.
• Lead/Support verification engineer in security verification testing and vulnerability management.

Job Summary

The Cyber security Architect is responsible for leading the Cyber Security activities for series production programs and providing assistance to the program team in delivering the work products of the security case and in complying with various regulations. He/She is reporting to the System Engineering Functional Leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security activities in compliance with ISO 21434


• Lead/Support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers


• Lead/Support Security Concept development


• Lead/Support Security Requirement development, Security Requirement review, and work closely with functional engineers to ensure the execution of these requirements


• Lead/Guide software engineers in vulnerability analysis (static code analysis, known vulnerability analysis) and support tracking cyber security implementation issues based on the vulnerability analysis


• Lead/Support verification engineer in security verification test and its vulnerability management

Requirements

• MSc degree in Software, Electrical or Computer Science or similar Engineering


• 4-8 years of demonstrated experience with cyber security in embedded systems is preferred, experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus


• Basic knowledge of ISO 21434 and/or UNECE WP.29 R155 is preferred


• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English


• Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans
