Job summary

NOV is seeking a security analyst with 2–5 years of hands-on product security experience to join our team in India. Strong English communication, self-direction, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential as you will collaborate across teams to drive cyber security best practices.

You will monitor environments for security issues, support investigations, identify vulnerabilities, and assist with assessments, audits, and evidence collection.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of strong hands-on product security experience.
• Possess strong communications and interpersonal skills in English
• Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based on knowledge and experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and python
• You thrive in dynamic environments with multiple changing priorities, where prioritization and time management are necessary tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to diagnose problems across multiple disciplines

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CEH, or similar
• Experience in a SOC, vulnerability management, or assessments
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls)
