The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of IT or cybersecurity experience and a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, and common security tools. Relevant certifications are advantageous and ongoing learning is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 1–2 years in IT support, network admin, SOC, or cybersecurity.
• Certs such as Security+, CEH, SC-900, AZ-900, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Investigate and analyze potential security incidents and escalate when necessary.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation activities.
• Support endpoint, network, and email security monitoring.
• Review system logs and identify suspicious activities.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident response and documentation activities.
• Conduct basic security awareness and compliance-related tasks.
• Maintain security reports, dashboards, and audit documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
