Job summary

Skybound Wealth Management in Mumbai seeks a technically capable Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen and maintain the Group's security posture across international offices.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365 and Azure security, email security, incident response and governance/compliance, with opportunities to pursue industry certifications and grow within a growing global business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years' experience in a Cybersecurity or Information Security role.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure security.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access and Identity & Access Management.
• Experience securing cloud-based Microsoft environments and investigating cybersecurity incidents.
• Strong understanding of email security, spam filtering, phishing protection and Microsoft 365 security best practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and maintain the Group's cybersecurity posture across international offices.
• Maintain and improve security of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Secure Azure-hosted business applications, including CRM and Advice Suite and other core platforms.
• Configure and maintain security controls across Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
• Review user permissions, privileged access and authentication controls across the Group.
• Manage and improve email security, including spam filtering, phishing protection and email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC).
• Investigate suspicious emails, phishing attempts and account compromise incidents.
• Review mail flow, mailbox security and identity-related risks.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Monitor security alerts and coordinate remediation with internal teams and third-party providers.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
• Identify security risks and recommend improvements to strengthen the Group's cybersecurity posture.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives relating to regulatory and compliance requirements, including DORA, Reg-SP and other applicable frameworks.
• Assist with security policies, risk assessments, audit activities and third-party security reviews.
• Support the implementation of security standards and best practices across the business.
• Support phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
• Promote security best practices across the organisation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically capable and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. This stand-alone position will play a key role in strengthening and maintaining the Group's cybersecurity posture across all international offices.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 & Azure Security

• Maintain and improve the security posture of the Group's Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.

• Support the security of Azure-hosted business applications, including our CRM, Advice Suite and other core platforms.

• Configure and maintain security controls across Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.

• Review user permissions, privileged access and authentication controls across the Group.

Email & Identity Security

Security Awareness

• Support phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.

• 4+ years' experience in a Cybersecurity or Information Security role.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure security.

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access and Identity & Access Management.

• Experience securing cloud-based Microsoft environments and investigating cybersecurity incidents.

• Strong understanding of email security, spam filtering, phishing protection and Microsoft 365 security best practices.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel or Mimecast.

• Exposure to ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls or similar cybersecurity frameworks.

• Experience within Financial Services or another regulated industry.

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP or equivalent.
