Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in India with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in security operations and threat monitoring. The role requires working with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, and email security solutions to detect, investigate, and respond to incidents.

You'll perform threat analysis, IOC identification, and remediation guidance while participating in 24x7 security operations. Strong collaboration with IT and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), Defender for Endpoint, and email security solutions.
• Strong understanding of cyberattack lifecycle, malware, phishing, and related threats.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework, incident management, log analysis, and event correlation.
• Familiarity with SIEM/EDR technologies, network security, IAM, and Windows security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for Endpoint.
• Investigate and triage security incidents, determine impact, and recommend remediation actions.
• Perform threat analysis and identify IOC, suspicious activities, and emerging threats.
• Monitor phishing, malware, ransomware, and other cyberattack attempts.
• Manage and investigate email security incidents, including phishing, spoofing, and malicious campaigns.
• Support incident response activities and assist in containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and runbooks.
