Job summary

NIIT Foundation (NF) is seeking a Trainer with Advanced Cyber Security Skills to conduct both on-site and online training for B.Tech and engineering students across India. The role includes delivering workshops, preparing materials, and handling learner queries.

The ideal candidate will have degrees in cyber security/IT/CS, hands-on security tool experience, and strong presentation skills. Frequent travel nationwide is required, with preferred vehicle ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS or related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security.
• Hands-on experience with security tools, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Good communication, presentation and training skills.
• Willing to travel frequently across India to deliver offline sessions; own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced cyber security training to B.Tech & Engineering students both physically and virtually.
• Conduct workshops and awareness sessions for various communities.
• Handle student queries and maintain training records.
• Prepare study materials and training delivery methods.
• Coordinate with College/ITI Principals and explore partnerships with colleges, NGOs and community organizations.
• Travel extensively to different locations in India to conduct sessions.

Job description

Trainer with Advance Cyber Security Skills::

Capable of taking Advanced Cyber Security Batches physically and virtually in the batch strength of 200+ and developing their skills job ready for cybersecurity space.

Must be technically prepared for Cisco Netacad courses Cyber Security Essentials, CyberOps Associate, Networking Essentials, Network Security, CCNA and AI courses.

Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

Provide cyber security training at an intermediate level for B.Tech & Engineering Students.

Delivering workshops and awareness sessions on cybersecurity to various communities like Anganwadi workers, Gig workers, Senior Citizens and others.

Handling student queries effectively and efficiently.

Maintain training related to Data (attendance, feedback forms, evaluation scores and certificate issued).

Preparing study materials for training students via a variety of training methods for improving training deliveries.

Coordination with College/ITI Principals for organizing the trainings

Exploring Partnerships with colleges, NGOs and other Community Organizations & Generating Leads

Ready for Extensive Travelling

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, ethical hacking, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Hands-on experience with security tools, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments, Networking Concepts.
• Good communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Prior experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is an added advantage.
• Ready to travel frequently across different locations in India to deliver offline sessions.
• Preferred to have his/her own vehicle for travelling to nearby locations for sessions.
