Job summary

Nabkisan Finance Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a senior Cyber Security Leader to own and drive information security across the organization. You will design policies, oversee VAPT cycles with IT auditors, and manage risk registers. Lead awareness programs and coordinate with regulators to ensure data protection and continuity.

The role requires 6+ years in cyber security with RBI/NABARD guideline exposure, and a strong leadership track record to independently discharge CISO responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering or IT with at least 6 years in cyber security.
• Age not exceeding 40 years as on date of application.
• Experience with RBI/NABARD guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
• Manage end-to-end VAPT cycles across applications with IT auditors.
• Conduct periodic IT risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Lead cyber security awareness programs for all employees.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for security assessments.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Maintain documentation of security policies and system configurations.
• Prepare compliance reports to regulators and management.
• Design backup and disaster recovery procedures aligned with business continuity.
• Ensure high availability of mission-critical apps through proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate with NABARD ITSM teams for security services.
• Provide leadership to discharge complete CISO responsibilities.

Job description

• Manage end-to-end vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) cycles across all applications in coordination with IT auditors
• Conduct periodic IT risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and oversee mitigation strategies
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Design and execute comprehensive cyber security awareness programs for all employees
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for security and compliance assessments
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI and NABARD guidelines for IT operations and security
• Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and system configurations
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies and management
• Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery procedures aligned with business continuity goals
• Ensure high availability of mission-critical applications through proactive maintenance and monitoring
• Coordinate with the ITSM teams of NABARD for the security services provided by the parent organization
• Possess the expertise and leadership capabilities required to independently discharge the complete roles and responsibilities of CISO

Educational Qualification

Graduate in engineering or any relevant IT related qualification with minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
