Job summary

BDO India is seeking a Senior Consultant Cyber Security to provide consulting and advisory services, assess security posture, support SOC operations, and conduct audits and risk assessments.

The role requires 7+ years of experience and certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001/ISO 20000, with preference for multiple similar projects.

• Conducting cybersecurity awareness and technical training for employees, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.

Role & responsibilities

The Senior Consultant Cyber Security shall be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Providing cybersecurity consulting and advisory services to the client.
2. Assessing the organization's cybersecurity posture, identifying security gaps, and recommending appropriate remediation measures.
3. Supporting SOC/security operations, including monitoring, incident analysis, threat identification, and security-event response.
4. Conducting or supporting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, risk assessments, and security audits.
5. Developing and reviewing information security policies, procedures, guidelines, and security controls.
6. Conducting cybersecurity awareness and technical training for employees, IT teams, and other stakeholders, as required.
7. Supporting cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech./B.E. or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
• Candidates possessing relevant professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications will be preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience
• Preference may be given to candidates who have successfully delivered two or more similar cybersecurity projects
