Qualifications

• Fresher with 0–1 year of cyber security exposure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Cyber Security.
• Willingness to learn SIEM tools and security controls.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS basics.
• Understanding of threats, malware and phishing basics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, security alerts, and system activities to identify threats.

• Support incident detection, investigation and documentation.
• Perform basic security assessments and vulnerability analysis.

The candidate will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying potential threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of security measures to protect organizational networks, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, security alerts, and system activities to identify potential security threats.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Support incident detection, investigation, and documentation.
• Perform basic security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Assist in implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills

Qualification

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or IBM QRadar.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Wireshark and Nmap.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH (optional).
