Job summary

Bandi Informatics seeks a security-minded professional to monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and assist in vulnerability remediation. The role requires knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux, and basic incident response. Familiarity with SIEM and threat intel is a plus.

Fresh graduates with certifications are welcome. Chennai office, full-time role. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cyber Security and up to 2 years of experience in cyber security, network security, or SOC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cyber Security or related field is required.
• Up to 2 years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security, SOC operations, or information security.
• Freshers with strong knowledge and relevant certifications may apply.
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, Network+, CCNA provide an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events using security monitoring tools.
• Identify, investigate, and respond to potential security incidents.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation activities.
• Monitor network traffic and detect suspicious activities.
• Support security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
• Analyze malware, phishing attempts, and other cyber threats.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls and policies.
• Document security incidents, findings, and corrective actions.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security best practices.
• Work closely with IT teams to strengthen security posture.

• Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, or vulnerability management tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of ethical hacking, penetration testing, or incident response concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
