About the job:

As a Customer Training Advisor, you will be responsible for the direct sales of learning and development products and services to prospective and current accounts to achieve sales targets.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Selling SAS Training products and solutions to current and prospective customers; collaborating with Education personnel to leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain customers within your territory.
  2. Working closely with new and existing customers, Software Sales Account Executives, Resellers & Partners, Customer Success Managers, and/or Consulting teams to determine customer training needs and advise on suitable solutions.
  3. Managing territory and account development, identifying high-potential opportunities, qualifying prospects, and forecasting sales using SAS’s global sales system.
  4. Proactively proposing solutions that demonstrate how SAS training offerings can add business value and address customer challenges, including assessing Talent Development needs.
  5. Managing the sales process from discovery to close by applying effective sales methodologies.
  6. Collaborating with training colleagues to respond promptly to qualified leads with high revenue and customer satisfaction potential.
  7. Partnering with other SAS lines of business to facilitate the SAS adoption and skills development journey.
  8. Preparing quotations and proposals; coordinating with divisions to finalize contracts and schedule services.
  9. Developing an understanding of the customer training market, competition, SAS Training offerings, and related pricing, licensing, and renewal procedures.
  10. Following up with customers to gauge satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.
  11. Building relationships and expanding customer contacts through SAS events and other channels to support successful SAS adoption.
  12. Managing business expenses and submitting reports promptly.
