Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned PIM Architect to define data strategy, architecture and governance for enterprise product information platforms. You will lead design to ensure scalable multi-brand, multi-country implementations across Commerce, ERP, PLM, DAM and OMS.

Ideal candidates have 8-12+ years in PIM/Data Architecture, 3-5+ years in a lead architect role, and a proven track record delivering large-scale PIM projects.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in Product Information Management, Data Architecture, or Commerce Architecture.
• 3-5+ years in a Lead Architect or Solution Architect role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale PIM implementations.
• Experience integrating PIM with Commerce, ERP, PLM, DAM, and OMS.
• Expertise in PIM, MDM, Product Catalog, taxonomy, data governance and DAM.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise PIM platforms (Akeneo, InRiver, Salsify, Syndigo).
• Design and maintain the enterprise product data model.
• Define product hierarchy, taxonomy, classifications, attributes and metadata.
• Establish attribute dictionaries, localization strategies and content standards.
• Define master data ownership and stewardship processes.
• Establish integration with syndication systems.
• Ensure multi-brand, multi-country, multi-channel scalability.

Job Description - PIM Architect

Experience: Min 8 years of experience with Product Information Management, Data Architecture, or Commerce Architecture.

PIM Architect is responsible for defining the product data strategy, architecture, governance model, integrations, and operating framework for enterprise-wide product information management platforms. Enterprise documents in your environment emphasize product hierarchy, taxonomy, attributes, workflows, governance, syndication, and integrations with Commerce, ERP, PLM, DAM, and downstream channels

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise PIM platforms such as:
• Akeneo
• InRiver
• Salsify
• Syndigo
• Design and maintain the enterprise product data model
• Define product hierarchy, taxonomy, classifications, categories, attributes, relationships, and metadata standards.
• Establish attribute dictionaries, localization strategies, and product content standards.
• Define master data ownership and stewardship processes
• Establish integration with syndication system
• Ensure scalability for multi-brand, multi-country, and multi-channel environments

Knowledge and Skill

• 8-12+ years of experience in Product Information Management, Data Architecture, or Commerce Architecture.
• 3-5+ years in a Lead Architect or Solution Architect role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale PIM implementations
• Experience integrating PIM with Commerce, ERP, PLM, DAM, and OMS platforms.
• Functional Expertise in Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), Product Catalog Management, Taxonomy and Classification, Data Governance, Product Lifecycle Management, Digital Asset Management and Data Migration
• Technical Expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, Event-driven architectures, Microservices, Integration Platforms (MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Informatica), Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), SQL and Data Modeling
• Commerce Experience on Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Headless Commerce, MACH architectures
