Job summary

FLSmidth in Chennai seeks an experienced Sales Order Processor to handle order entry, verification, and ERP documentation. You will ensure accurate data, timely fulfillment, and SLA compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align delivery dates in the ERP system.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in sales order processing, strong Excel and Dynamics skills, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in sales order processing or order management.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in ERP records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in ERP.
• Verify orders before release, including pricing and delivery.
• Maintain order records and documentation in ERP.

Job description

Your responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely order entry and fulfillment.
• Verify customer, pricing, product, and delivery information before order release.
• Maintain accurate order records and documentation in ERP.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support process improvements to enhance order accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, returns, and credit requests in accordance with company policies.
• Quote Preparation for After Market Spare Orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate sales order delivery dates in the ERP system at any point of time.
• Maintain customer records and ensure all Customer details are up to date in ERP systems.
• Maintain Sales Log and keep updating Merics for Review Meetings and Management submission.
• New Customer creation in ERP System.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in sales order processing, order management, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and data accuracy skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving order-related issues.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
