Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Baroda, Gujarat, India, is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to join the Customer Service Division. You will travel up to 80% to support end users on DCS/ESD systems and drive service delivery in collaboration with regional teams.

The role requires a B-Tech/BE in Instrumentation & Control or Electronics, strong knowledge of process automation, and hands-on experience with DCS/PLC. You will engage with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in Instrumentation & Control or Electronics.
• Experience in DCS/ESD and process control environments is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% on job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service expertise and drive service execution with customers.
• Resolve DCS/ESD hardware, firmware and application issues as needed.
• Build customer relationships and support new projects with the sales and services teams.
• Prior networking knowledge (Cisco CCNP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Previous Yokogawa experience is a plus.

Skills and Competency :

Excellent knowledge of Instrumentation & Process control automation. Basic knowledge of IEC 61131 And IEC 61499 Standards. Hands-on experience in DCS/PLC if any Knowledge of Windows OS and Anti-virus management is an added advantage Antivirus, Security update, Networking and setting up the system-based project demand.

Member of Regional Service Team.

• Dealing with typical customers like end users etc.
• Providing field service expertise, service execution and build relationships with users.
• Resolving DCS/ESD issues, hardware, firmware, application as needed.
• Building customer confidence and ease customer experience by supporting our drives supplied.
• Collaborating with sales and services teams to build relationships and support new projects with customers.
• Prefer with Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking experience.
• Preferred candidate with past Yokogawa Experience.
