Job summary

Paras Health in Kanpur is seeking a dedicated theatre support professional to manage daily equipment checks and maintenance of anaesthesia machinery. The role includes strict instrument sterilization, proper consumables indenting, OR fumigation, and accurate case records, ensuring smooth pre-op processes and timely information to the anaesthesiologist for elective and emergency cases.

You will assist with intraoperative conduct, PAC/billing coordination, and adherence to theatre attire policies,

Responsibilities

• Daily equipment checklist completion.
• Upkeep and timely servicing of anaesthesia machines.
• Strict sterilization of instruments and ETO handling with CSSD.
• Correct stocking and indenting of consumables.
• Fumigation of the operating theatre.
• Maintain records in the prescribed format for all cases.
• Ensure pre-operative checklists are followed.
• Provide timely case information to the anaesthesiologist for elective and emergency cases.
• Assist with PAC, consent and patient billing processes.
• Assist the anaesthesiologist during intraoperative cases.
• Ensure adherence to theatre attire policy.
• Coordinate with recovery staff for patient shifting and PACU care.
• Identify and assist anaesthesiologist in postoperative complications.
• Demonstrate time management to prevent delays and support the surgeon and anaesthesiologist.

Job description

• Daily equipment checklist.

• Strict sterilization of instruments/ETO to and from CSSD.
• Correct indent of consumables
• Fumigation of OR.
• Maintain record in correct format for all operative cases.
• Pre-OP checklist compliance.
• Ensure timely information to Anaesthesiologist about operative cases both elective and emergency.
• Ensure PAC, Consent, Billing of patients.
• Assist Anaesthesiologist for intra op conduct of operative cases.
• Compliance of theatre Attire policy.
• Coordinate with .recovery staff for shifting and PACU care of patient.
• Identification and timely assistance to Anaesthesiologist in case of post operative complication
• Last but not the least " Time Management" to prevent delay in conduct of cases to facilitate the surgeon and Anaesthesiologist
