Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is seeking a vigilant security professional to safeguard personnel, materials, and movement of assets. The role includes coordinating with vendors, police, and local leadership as needed to maintain safety.

You will generate and share digital security reports, execute assigned tasks under the Head of Security, and monitor security activities. Knowledge of ISO, QMS, ISMS and CCTV systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO, QMS, ISMS and audit processes.
• Familiarity with CCTV and security automation systems (GMS, PIDS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of all personnel, materials and supervision of material movements.
• Prevent theft, investigate incidents and generate reports.
• Execute all security activities as directed by CSO/Head Security.
• Generate and share digital security reports.
• Monitor and execute assigned tasks for security operations.
• Liaise with local authorities, vendors, and community leaders as required.
• Train and manage contract security personnel.
• Knowledge of fire safety and basic firefighting.
• Proficiency in Gujarati language is preferred.
• Conduct security drills as scheduled.

Job description

1. Responsible for ensuring security of all men, materials and supervision of material movements.

2. Theft prevention, investigation and report generation.

3. Responsible for executing all security activities.

4. Responsible for generation and sharing of various security reports in digital format.

5. Responsible for execution and monitoring, on behalf of CSO/ Head Security, of assigned tasks.

6. Vigilance, Liaison with local village leadership, vendors, police and administrative setup for designated issues as tasked by Head Security.

7. Should be proficient in fire fighting and use of fire equipment, preferred, not mandatory.

8. Training, briefing and management of contract security manpower.

9. Proficiency in Gujarati language, preferred, not mandatory.

10. Knowledge of ISO, QMS, ISMS and audit process.

11. Knowledge of various security automation systems e.g. CCTVs, GMS, PIDS etc.

12. Conduct Security Mock Drills as per schedule
