Job summary

Aayush Kumar IQ City Foundation in India seeks a skilled ICU specialist to lead care for critically ill patients. You will perform ICU rounds, manage emergencies, and handle airway/ventilator support with invasive monitoring as needed.

The role requires MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or Respiratory Medicine, strong decision-making and team leadership, and compliance with NABH and safety protocols. Clinical audits and training participation are expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or Respiratory Medicine required.
• Experience in ICU critical care management and rounds.
• Proven ability to manage complex emergencies and post-operative/high-risk patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in ICU.
• Conduct ICU rounds and assess patient condition.
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform airway management and endotracheal intubation.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and NIV.
• Perform central and arterial line insertion.
• Manage sepsis, shock and multi-organ failure.
• Perform CPR, ACLS, defibrillation and cardioversion.
• Monitor hemodynamic and clinical parameters.
• Coordinate with specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate ICU records and clinical documentation.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding critical illness and treatment.
• Follow hospital, NABH and patient-safety protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, training and quality improvement activities.
