Job summary

Nexthire in Pune is seeking a passionate Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer with 8–10 years' hands-on experience to design and build data-driven solutions on Snowflake for complex enterprise needs. You will design schemas, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize performance, ensure security and governance, and collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment.

Exposure to Python / PySpark / dbt is a plus, and preference for candidates from Investment/Asset Management, Capital

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake development and data solution design experience.
• Strong SQL development skills and Snowflake database design knowledge.
• Experience with data modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stages, COPY INTO).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data security and governance.
• Exposure to Python, PySpark or dbt is a plus; AI/GenAI skills are advantageous.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer who has hands‑on experience in designing and developing data‑driven solutions on Snowflake for complex enterprise business requirements. The candidate should have strong experience in Snowflake development, data modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT, along with good understanding of database architecture and data security. Candidates with experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Investment Banking or Financial Services will be strongly preferred.
