Job summary

VARTIS Platforms in India is seeking a portfolio risk professional to own day-to-day risk management across lending products, framing policies and translating them into consistent, high-quality execution.

In this fast-paced fintech environment, you will monitor risk indicators, support new credit initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain underwriting documentation for audit and governance, leveraging data-driven decisioning tools.

Qualifications

• MBA or MBA Tech preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in credit underwriting or risk management.
• Strong analytical judgment and teamwork.
• Experience with data-driven decisioning tools and credit tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Frame and refine credit policy across lending products.
• Monitor portfolio performance indicators and flag emerging risk trends and mitigation.
• Support rollout of new credit and risk initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of underwriting decisions, exceptions, and process changes for audit and governance purposes.

Purpose of the Role
