Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; Master’s or CA/CFA is a plus.
• 7–10 years in credit risk management; 3–5 years in LAP credit appraisal and portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of LAP products, credit policies, regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to assess credit risk.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.
• Proficiency in credit appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures tailored for LAP products, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage and monitor the LAP portfolio, identifying delinquencies and recovery strategies.
• Conduct due diligence on borrowers and properties, including site visits and document verification.
• Train, mentor, and supervise a team of credit officers.

• Prepare and present credit reports, portfolio performance analyses and risk assessments to senior management.
